Hero from Much Ado About Nothing. the veil was made by Ivy (isn't it awesome?!?!)
why yes, we did do a puppet version. basically, at our school we have a Shakespeare competition each year for years 7-10, where everyone has to do a representation of the Shakespeare play they study that year. in years 7 and 8 you have to do a monologue or duologue, but in years 9 and 10 you can do whatever you want, basically. so last year and this year, me and a few friends did sock puppet plays (last year was Romeo and Juliet, this year was Much Ado). we did the marriage scene, where Claudio rejects Hero and the Friar hatches his plan. our plays were sarcastic and basically took the crap out of Shakespeare. lots of stereotypes and odd jokes and references to random things, and at the end every puppet came up with blonde wigs on singing Hannah Montana... twas amusing.
so yes. we did do a puppet version. after a fashion...
